Christina leads the Dermatology nursing team at Maynooth Medical Skin and Laser. She is Candidate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (cANP) at St James’s Hospital Dublin. She is currently completing her Masters (MSc) in Advanced Practice Nursing at Trinity College Dublin. Christina delivers advanced skin rejuvenation treatments in line with best international practice guidelines and evidence based research. She began her career in Dermatology Aesthetics in 2017, with over 10 years of experience working in the acute hospital setting. Since qualifying as a general nurse, she has worked alongside the country’s leading Consultant Dermatologists, Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She has also worked as part of the specialist surgery team at Hair Restoration Blackrock (HRBR).
As an experienced Aesthetic Nurse, Christina completed her Graduate Diploma in Dermatology Nursing at University College Dublin (UCD) in 2021, became a registered Nurse Prescriber (RNP) in 2022. She travelled extensively in the UK and Europe training in laser applications. She received her BTEC Certificate in Laser at Mapperley Park Aesthetics Training Academy in the UK and regularly attends BMLA (British Medical Laser Association) educational conferences. Christina holds a Level 7 qualification in Dermal Filler injectables having completed advanced training in specific masterclasses with leading Pharma companies.
Before returning to study nursing as a mature student in 2006, she enjoyed a successful career in print journalism with news stories and features published in The Irish Times, The Sunday Independent, and many other national publications. In 2002, she won the prestigious Anne Maguire Journalism Award which earned her an internship with The Boston Globe newspaper.
Christina is the current DANAI Chairperson. She was inspired by DANAI’s founding members' passion for best practice standards in aesthetic medicine and joined the team in 2018. Christina has represented DANAI at key meetings with nursing regulator NMBI, instigated the new Dermatology Aesthetic section with the INMO and propelled the Association on its current trajectory. She looks forward to offering continued professional guidance to DANAI’s growing membership.
Anne Sloan is an experienced Skin Care Nurse Specialist with expertise in Regenerative Treatments, Allergy, Atopy, and Tissue Viability. A dedicated and experienced skin care specialist with a profound passion for helping individuals achieve radiant and healthy skin with a diverse educational background that has enabled her to excel in the field of skin care and regenerative treatments.
She earned her primary degree at Trinity College Dublin, completed a Postgraduate Certificate at Cardiff University and completed a Higher Diploma at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). This comprehensive training focused on Tissue Viability and wound healing equipping her to address a wide range of skin concerns.
She has worked in Dermatology and Immunology for over 10 years and trained with experts in the field of medical aesthetics. She is deeply committed to providing exceptional patient care at Clear Clinic. By staying at the forefront of advancements in skin care and regenerative treatments.
As DANAI's Vice Chairperson, Anne provides unwavering support and sage guidance to members while assisting the Chairperson.

Jeanette is a founder member and director of the Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland (DANAI). She mentors and trains Aesthetic Nurse members in all aspects of Medical Aesthetics.
She conceived the Body Benefits formula, developed her own unique training methods and has continued to pioneer the development of the business taking it to the forefront of the Aesthetic Medical and Skincare industry.
She holds a Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and Laser BTECH qualifications under the tutorship of Prof. Elizabeth Raymond Brown of Laser Education UK. She is Clinical Director of Body Benefits and holds numerous other qualifications across a broad range of activities in the Laser, Skincare and Aesthetics arenas.
Dr Patrick Treacy is a globally recognised leader in aesthetic medicine, celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions and numerous accolades. Awarded the "Top Aesthetic Practitioner in the World" at the 2019 My Face My Body Global Awards in Las Vegas, he has also earned titles such as "Doctor of the Year" in the UK and Ireland on multiple occasions. His pioneering research has led to advancements in safety, being amongst the first doctors in the world to use hyaluronidase in aesthetic medicine and being awarded for using stemcells, platelet-rich plasma, and growth signalling factors for skin necrosis after vascular occlusion.
Dr Treacy's work has been acknowledged with the prestigious AMEC Trophy three times andmultiple My Face My Body awards, among other international honours. He has held significant positions, including Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Royal Society of Medicine Aesthetic Congress and Chairman of the Irish Association of Cosmetic Doctors. He serves on editorial boards of several international journals and has trained over 3,500 doctors and nurses worldwide.
Dr Treacy presented a keynote speech on Complications of Dermal Filler at the 2022 DANAI Aesthetic Nurse Open Day event.

Julie Scott is an NMC registered Independent Nurse Prescriber, Level 7 qualified aesthetic injector and trainer, with over 30 years in plastics and skin rejuvenation she established her practice in Essex in 2003.
Julie is an aesthetic mentor and international speaker and she’s won "Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year" at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards in 2024, and at the Aesthetic Awards in 2024 and 2022. Her clinic also took home "Best Clinic South of England" at the 2023 Aesthetics Awards. Julie is on the Clinical Advisory Board for the Aesthetics Journal and is a Key Opinion Leader for several leading aesthetic brands.
She’s an Aesthetic Awards Judge, Advisory Board Expert Advisor, and leads research for new aesthetic products. Her dedication to patient care earned her the WhatClinic Patient Satisfaction Award for five years running. Julie has written over 25 articles and presented at 20 conferences in the past 18 months alone.

Anna Gunning is an Aesthetic Nurse Trainer and the Clinical Director of Laser + Skin Clinics, a state-of-the-art, award-winning group of cosmetic clinics specialising in the latest and most advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments. With over 20 years of full-time experience in aesthetic medicine, Anna's expertise led her to become an Aesthetic Trainer in 2018.
Recognising the importance of education and continuous learning in the field, Anna founded Cosmed Aesthetic Training Academy. Cosmed facilitates and provides aesthetic training and support to medical professionals offering CPD Accredited training programs. Anna is a founding member of the Dermatology and Aesthetic Nurses Association of Ireland (DANAI), supporting nurses working within the aesthetic industry across all areas of aesthetics.

Patricia Molloy founded the DermaClinic in 1999 an Multi Award Winning Clinic as voted by industry experts and the first clinic in Ireland to specialise in lasers and medical aesthetic treatments, now celebrating their 20th Anniversary.
Patricia trained in the US with Dr. Bob Weiss in Baltimore and Dr. Patrick Bitter Jnr. in California. She did further training in the UK with Lumenis and Dr. Mervin Patterson. Her research is ongoing and she regularly attends international seminars on medical aesthetics. She has also presented lectures at IMCAS in Paris and at the FACE conference in London. She is recognised as one of the most experienced and renowned practitioners in aesthetic medicine in Ireland. She is frequently asked to appear on TV participating in Ireland AM TV3, Midday TV3, The Afternoon Show RTE and numerous radio stations.
Patricia works relentlessly to influence the standards in Aesthetic medicine in Ireland. She is a founder and former Chairperson of the Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland DANAI.

The Skin Nurse, Nicola O’Byrne began as RGN, with vast training within Dermatology medical clinics both In UK and Ireland.
As a nurse prescriber she is qualified to assess, diagnose and prescribe within the area of dermatology. Nicola acted as a representative to develop standards with the National Standards Authority Ireland (NSAI) to help regulate the area of non-surgical aesthetics.Nicola is a founding member and former chairperson of the Dermatology Aesthetics Nurses Association Ireland (DANAI). Her aim and indeed achievement is to work to deliver the highest standard of medical care to her patients.

Anne is a highly respected NMBI registered nurse and has been involved in Aesthetic Medicine for over 20 years. Anne completed the ‘Train the Trainer ‘ programme with Galderma & joined a very talented group of colleagues on the GAIN Faculty (Galderma Aesthetic Injectors Network). She mentors nurses, doctors and dentists having presented at the DANAI Aesthetic Nurses Open Day to a record number of members.
She attends conferences and courses to ensure her skill level in medical aesthetics is kept up-to-date with the latest advances in aesthetic medicine. Anne has a calm, reassuring, gentle manner and is very passionate about her work. Patient satisfaction is of the highest importance to her and she delivers the gold standard of care to all!

He completed his medical degree at Nagpur University, India in 1997 and is registered with the IMC Irish Medical Council. He is medical director of The Good Life clinic, a Medical Aesthetics and Wellness Centre in Co. Waterford.

Ita Murphy is Managing Director of The Otto Clinic, Limerick. An NMBI registered nurse and homeopath with over 25 years’ experience, she has a keen interest in dermatology and has been practising non-invasive, anti-ageing techniques since 2005. Ita was trained in Harley Street, London in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy and was the first to introduce it to Ireland. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in facial contouring & volume. Today, she is recognised as a leading PRP practitioner, trainer and lecturer both in Ireland and the U.K. She is a member of the DANAI Board and guides nurses coming into the field of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine.

Cora is Clinical Director of La Lueur based in south Dublin. Cora is a registered nurse with experience in plastic and cosmetic surgery. At 26, she embarked on her business journey by establishing her first homecare company The Care Team, which she expanded impressively from 3 to 32 employees in just eight months.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to acquire a second homecare company within three years. For over a decade, Cora served as the Clinical Director of The Care Team and Contact Care, both of which were approved HSE providers delivering primary care services to clients at home. Under her leadership, these companies received numerous accolades for their high-quality care, significantly reducing hospital admissions and employing over 200 professionals.
In 2019, Cora co-founded La Lueur which provides medical aesthetics as well as hair and beauty services with business partner Selena Gannon. Her academic credentials include a Degree in Nursing, MSc in Advanced Leadership in Nursing from The Royal College of Surgeons, Chartered Director qualification from the Institute of Directors Ireland. Cora's commitment to excellence has earned her multiple awards, including the prestigious Image Startup Business woman of the Year 2014 and Image Young Business Woman of the Year in 2019. Additionally, she is an active member of other healthcare committees, continually contributing her expertise to the sector.
She is the Chairperson of the Dermatology Aesthetic Section of the INMO and an integral part of the DANAI team.

Fiona Pardy graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 and became a registered general nurse. She completed an MSc in Nursing, P.Grad and a Diploma in Specialist Nursing. She is also a registered Nurse Prescriber.
She continually updates her personal and professional development by attending accredited and informal learning opportunities in order to keep up to date with evidence based practice. Having trained in St James’s Hospital Fiona has spent the last 20 years working in Plastics & Dermatology and Emergency Department nursing. She currently works as a CNM in the Emergency Department. Her work as a CNM has allowed her to develop her own nursing skills & to also mentor & support nursing students and junior staff and to become involved with change management, audit and policy development which has been a privilege.
Fiona completed a level 7 Certificate in Anti Wrinkle and Dermal Filler Injections and works part time in an aesthetic clinic. Patient safety and high quality service is at the forefront of all DANAI do and getting to be involved with this group has been such a rewarding experience.
Association Manager
Barbara is a key member of the DANAI team. She has been the Association Manager since 2017. An experienced digital marketing business owner since 2015 while moving to Dublin Bus full time post Covid 19.
In her influential role, she shapes operations and programs, ensuring comprehensive care for dermatology aesthetic nurses. Through leadership, she advances the profession, elevates standards, and fosters growth.
She manages the organisation's membership base and plans and executes yearly events. Her primary objective is to guarantee that every nurse within the organisation receives personalised attention, enabling them to thrive in their professional endeavours. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each member feels valued and supported, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among them.
She plays a vital role in creating an environment where nurses can connect, collaborate, and grow together whilst working with global Dermatology Aesthetic companies. She reports directly to the elected DANAI Chairperson and the elected board of management.
